School Uniforms

School Uniforms

Students are required to wear the official school uniform starting in Kindergarten.

Holy Family Catholic School's dress code, as detailed in the Family Handbook, provides a level of formality suitable for serious academic performance.  The rationale behind this dress code includes encouraging dressing for success, providing uniformity, promoting discipline and fostering a better learning environment.

Students are expected to wear the complete school-approved uniform with pride and dignity every day of the school year.  All uniforms must be properly fitted, clean and in good repair.  All students are expected to be in complete compliance with the dress code from the time they enter the building in the morning until they exit the building at the end of the day.

Uniform Purchases

Holy Family Catholic School is working with the Diocese of Fort Worth to secure a new uniform supplier for the 2018-2019 school year.

General Uniform Requirements

  • All students (K - 8th) must have at least one complete formal uniform for Mass and other announced days.
  • All students (PK - 8th) must have at least one red polo shirt embroidered with the school logo.
  • Pre-Kindergarten students are not required to wear a uniform; however, they must comply with the guidelines detailed in the Family Handbook sections "Non-Uniform Dress", "Hair", "Jewelry/Accessories" and "Makeup".

Hornet Store (Donated Uniforms)

The Hornet Store, located in the Loaves and Fish closet in the Dining Hall, offers, free of charge, gently used uniforms.  Hornet Store inventories are solely dependent on recent donations. Donations may be dropped off at the school office at any time. Parents may access the Hornet Store on any school day from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.

The administration reserves the right to amend this and any school policy guideline as needed.  Changes will be communicated in advance to all families.
