Pre-Kindergarten

Holy Family Catholic School offers a Pre-Kindergarten 3 class for children who attain the age of 3 by September 1st and a Pre-Kindergarten 4 class for children who attain the age of 4 by September 1st. Children must be completely potty-trained to participate in the Pre-Kindergarten program.

The Pre-Kindergarten program is a curriculum rich program that operates from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.

The Pre-Kindergarten Enrichment Program operates from 12:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, on regularly scheduled full school days. The Enrichment Program does not operate on noon dismissal school days. This is an optional program that provides a structured setting for the student that will include free play, recreation time, letter and number tutorials, discovery projects, iPad instruction, rest, and a snack.

Pre-Kindergarten students that participate in the Enrichment Program will use the 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. time period to eat lunch, enjoy recess and transition to the afternoon program. Pre-Kindergarten students that do not participate in the Enrichment Program must be picked up from school no later than 11:15 a.m. to avoid being charged for the Enrichment Program. If a student does not participate in the Enrichment Program and is not picked up by 11:15 a.m. will be charged at the rate of $5.00 for every 15 minute increment between 11:15 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

If a Pre-Kindergarten student cannot be picked up by 12:00 noon on an ongoing basis, the student must be registered in the Enrichment Program. There is a $25.00 non-refundable registration fee for the Enrichment Program. Students may not be picked up before 1:00 p.m. in order to preserve an undisturbed naptime for the Pre-Kindergarten students.
